Limited Jersey FOI act still better than Island - PAG

by isleofman.com 10th September 2014
Jersey's Freedom of Information Act may be limited in certain areas, but it is still ahead of the Isle of Man.
Positive Action Group Chair Roger Tomlinson has made the comments in response to news that the Channel Island's FoI law would not cover companies owned by the States - Jersey's parliament.
It means when things are privatised, not even States members will be able to get information about them.
However, while Mr Tomlinson believes this will compromise accountabilty to some extent, they will still have a superior FOI act.Clip 1
