by isleofman.com 15th September 2014
The deadline is fast approaching for Isle of Man charities to apply for small grant funding from the government's overseas aid budget.

Funds are set aside each year by the Council of Ministers' International Development Committee for small scale, one-off projects aimed at tackling poverty in developing countries.

The lastest round of funding which opened in August, closes at noon on Friday (19 Sept).

Grants are awarded in a band from ?10,000 up to ?100,000 and smaller awards are also considered.

Charities applying for the funding must be registered in the Isle of Man and demonstrate substantinal links to the Island.
