Bitcoin and a coffee!

A new event in Douglas is hoping to persuade small businesses to start accepting hi-tech Bitcoins – and customers to start using them.

Each Monday, Java Express on Prospect Hill will see experts on hand between 5pm and 6pm to explain how Bitcoin works.

The coffee shop already accepts bitcoins, and organiser Owen Cutajar says they hope to set people up with wallets and have them experience spending some of their new e-money.
