Cannan explains resignation decision

An MHK has been explaining why he's stepped down as political member with responsibility for housing.
Michael MHK Alf Cannan resigned from the role yesterday, saying he was being left in the dark about what was going on with regards to social housing and local authority reform.
Speaking on Mandate this morning, Mr Cannan said he felt too many decisions were being made by the Cabinet Office, behind closed doors:Clip 1
