Vandals damage car with paint stripper

by isleofman.com 19th September 2014
A car was damaged by vandals in the north of the Island earlier this week.
Ramsey police say a white Nissan Qashqai had some sort of solvent poured over it some time between 6pm on Wednesday and midday on Thursday.
The vehicle was parked at the Threshold in Jurby at the time.
It is thought the solvent used was paint stripper, as it has caused extensive damage to the paintwork of the vehicle.
Police have been to the area and conducted house-to-house inquiries.
Other vehicles in the area were checked, but as yet police have received no further reports of damage.
Call Ramsey police station on 812234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 if you know anything about the damage.
