There's a chance to have your say on the future shape of legal aid in the Isle of Man.
The first major review of the system for 14 years is being launched today (22 Set) by the new independent Legal Aid Committee.
A public consultation will ask users of the system how well it worked for them and whether there should be changes to improve access to justice.
The committee has framed five key areas for comment, starting with the primary objective of legal aid - promoting fairness and equity in access to justice.
Other areas include the use of limited public money, the efficiency of the system and professionalism of those who run it, and how it can be shaped around the needs of those who use it.
The committee also wants to hear views on other approaches to resolving disputes such as mediation, which can prevent the need to go to court.
