Catch the Last Night of the Proms this Saturday at The Gaiety

The Manx Youth Band and Manx Concert Brass are especially pleased to welcome Manx born Soprano Helen Power as their guest soloist for this year's Manx Last Night of the Proms which will be held on Saturday 27th September at 7:45 in The Gaiety Theatre.

Helen grew up on the island, where she played in the Manx Youth Band and Manx Concert Brass, and attended The Christine Wild Theatre School, before moving to London to pursue a performing career.

Since training in musical theatre at Mountview Academy, Helen has performed on the West End stage, and several major tours have seen her perform in theatres all over the UK, Europe and beyond to outstanding reviews.

As soprano soloist for the highly acclaimed Incognito Artists and classical crossover group Bravo Amici.

The bands are pleased to have the opportunity to welcome home a Manx artist for this special Island Of Culture event.
