FSC chief executive to leave

by isleofman.com 22nd September 2014
The Chief Executive of the Financial Supervision Commission has announced he will stand down next summer.
John Aspden says he will leave when his contract of employment comes to an end.
He came to the Island in 1998 to take up the appointment, and during his time at the top has worked to secure the Island as a credible financial services centre.
Mr Aspden has overseen the many regulatory changes needed since the financial crisis of 2008, one of the most challenging periods of his term in office.
A recruitment process has begun, and that will include a search for both on and off-Island candidates.
