UK isn't benchmark for Island's Health Service says Chief Executive

The man tasked with driving the Island’s health service forward says the UK is not the benchmark to follow.
Mark Charters was appointed chief executive this summer after an extensive recruitment process, following the retirement of three senior department of health and social care figures.
It followed high profile criticism of senior figures in the health service.
Mr Charters says it’s clear the Island has ‘dedicated and excellent staff’ and that delivering change is a long-term process.
