The long-awaited re-opening of the Ramsey swing bridge has taken place.

The bridge was closed for a year, after major faults were discovered during routine repairs. A ?1million refurbishment of the Victorian structure has now been completed and the bridge, an important connection over the town's harbour, is open to traffic. The Department of Infrastructure has thanked members of the public for their patience.
