Man charged after pub attack

Police have charged a 33 year old man in connection with an attack on a barman in Laxey at the weekend.
It happened on Saturday night in the beer garden of the Mines Tavern.
The staff member was taken to hospital for treatment but was later released.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
A man from the north of the Island was arrested this morning, and after being charged will appear in court tomorrow.
