Isle of Man tour operator Freedom Travel is celebrating its first successful summer working with British Airways.
The travel agency has just released its 2015 brochure and will once again be using BA jets to fly holiday makers to Menorca and Majorca throughout next summer.
Freedom Travel’s Jan Wozniak said: ‘We decided to join forces with BA for this year’s direct holidays from Ronaldsway, after Flybe withdrew its Isle of Man base, and we are very pleased to report that the venture has proved hugely successful. By using Embraer 170 jets we have cut flight times to less than three hours. Add to this the convenience of flying directly from Ronaldsway to the Balearics and you can see why our holidays are so popular.’
Next summer will be Freedom Travel’s sixth season flying direct to the sun, with convenient flight times and no need to travel via the UK proving a hit with customers. Flights leave Ronaldsway every Saturday from 16 May to 26 September, with the choice of one or two week breaks in a wide selection of resorts and hotels hand-picked by the Freedom Travel team.
Jan said: ‘Leaving Ronaldsway at 1.25pm means no dawn starts and our customers are in their resorts a matter of a few hours later. Our return flights are timed so that you can enjoy nearly a full day in your resort and still be home in the Isle of Man by the early evening. Our aim is to take the hassle out of travel and our partnership with BA has only served to enhance this.’
