Island airline raises thousands for charity

Island-based Citywing has raised nearly ?7,500 for Manx Cancer Help with its annual plane pull.

Local companies and sports clubs entered teams for the endurance challenge which sees a plane towed across the tarmac at Ronaldsway Airport.

Douglas Rugby Club won this year by completing the course in a time of 13.12 seconds.

The overall event raised over ?3,700, which Barclays matched pound-for-pound.
