Leading economist coming to the Island

A leading global economist is coming to the Isle of Man later this month.
Goolam Ballim is Standard Bank's Chief Economist and Head of Research.
He has just been in Washington, speaking at the US Africa Summit, which was attended by President Barack Obama.
Mr Ballim heads up a team of 53 analysts, and is an expert on world economies, with a particular interest in Africa.
He is going to be giving a seminar over here looking at both the developed and emerging world economies and their monetary policies.
It is being held at the Standard Bank offices on Monday October 20th starting at 11:30.
