Stoptober encourages smokers to quit

If you are thinking about quitting smoking, there is a great opportunity to do so from this Wednesday.
Stoptober runs for 28 days, with the belief you are much more likely to give up for good if you manage to go that long without a cigarette.
Anita Imberger is the government's health psychologist and tobacco lead.
A support pack is available in England only, but Isle of Man residents can still sign up for the daily email or text support for free or download the mobile phone app.
Each day throughout October, you will receive an email and a text message including updates, quitting advice and tips to help you stay on track and cope with cravings.Clip 1
