Good news for ferry passengers

The Steam Packet is increasing the number of sailings to Liverpool in 2015.
It comes after an increase in the number of people travelling to Merseyside this year.
There will be 48 additional Liverpool sailings in 2015, all operated by fastcraft Manannan.
In the new schedule there are also extra year round services to Heysham, as well as winter services to Birkenhead, a route which will be served by the Ben-my-Chree.
The company is also going to freeze foot passenger fares and spend an extra ?500,000 on advertising and marketing.
