Tree felling to continue

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says the battle to beat a deadly tree disease may last at least another two years.

Phytophthora ramorum primarily affects larch trees, and means tens of thousands have to be felled in order to stop its spread.

Also known as sudden oak death, it was first discovered on the Island in 2010 when work to chop down its hosts began.
