Alternative Big Debate tomorrow

Michael MHK Alf Cannan has labelled the government’s Big Debate “state-sponsored brainwashing” as an alternative meeting takes place tomorrow.

While ministers will be at the Centenary Centre in Peel talking to a randomly-selected audience about government plans for the future, Mr Cannan will be at a meeting in the town’s Masonic Hall.

He says it’s a chance for those who feel excluded from the government’s process to discuss their views about the future of the Island’s economy, and political and welfare systems.
