Big Debate alternative for Peel tonight

by isleofman.com 2nd October 2014
An MHK who’ll be at an alternative meeting taking place as the government hosts its first Big Debate gathering says he’s looking forward to it.

Chris Thomas says he’d felt uneasy about the idea of a closed meeting between ministers and a randomly-invited audience and so wanted to hold open discussions.

Tonight, at the Masonic Hall in Peel, he’ll be one of a number of backbench MHKs at Isle of Man 2020 which takes place from 7pm.

Mr Thomas explains what’s different about the meeting:Clip 1
