Three decades of growth for Island

The Isle of Man has chalked up 30 consecutive years of economic growth, according to official figures out today (Fri 3rd)
National income accounts for 2012-13 show gross domestic product increased by 3.2 per cent in real terms, with the Island's total GDP now more than ?4 billion for the first time.
Production of the year's accounts is delayed, as they are based on income tax data which is not available in full until at least 12 months later.
e-gaming and ICT were large contributors to the growth, while the financial and professional services sector have expanded, despite job losses in banking.
The figures show GDP per person has risen to more than double the United Kingdom figure.
