Ramsey man bailed after heroin and cannabis bust

A Ramsey man arrested after a drugs seizure last week has been bailed.
Forty-six-year-old Wayne Heavey, a painter and decorator, was arrested in connection with a raid which recovered heroin with a street value of ?5,700.
Mr Heavey, of Fairfield Avenue, admits possessing heroin and cannabis, and cultivating cannabis.
He has pleaded not guilty to possessing heroin with intent to supply, production of heroin to the Island from the UK and attempting to possess heroin with intent to supply.
He will appear in court again on November 13.
