Second Big Debate tonight

by isleofman.com 7th October 2014

Government Ministers will be presenting their second Big Debate tonight.

It's being held at the Ree Gorree Building of Bunscoill Rhumsaa in Ramsey at 7.30pm, with a audience of voters that were randomly selected. The first Big Debate, held in Peel last week, was attended by around 65 people. A rival event, organised by backbenchers and held at the same time, attracted an audience of 120.

Tonight, Policy and Resources Minister Chris Robertshaw and Treasury Minister Eddie Teare will present people with multiple-choice questions to vote anonymously on. Mr Robertshaw said after the first meeting that he took on board criticism that the questions were too vague.
