MHK plans talks with IoM Bank officials

by isleofman.com 7th October 2014
The chairman of the Isle of Man Post Office says he plans talks with Isle of Man Bank officials after it announced it's to close three of its branches next spring.
Banks in Onchan, Ballasalla and Prospect Terrace in Douglas will shut on February the 27th.
A drop in customers by nearly 30 per cent over the last four years, coupled with a significant growth in online and mobile transactions, have been cited as the reasons.
Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen says he’s disappointed alternatives weren’t considered by the bank before the announcement.
