Appeal after car damaged and vehicle fails to stop

Constable Alison Stokes from Central Neighbourhood Policing Team is investigating a road traffic Collision which occurred on Ballaquayle Road outside the small row of shops, which includes Kinrade’s Pharmacy. The collision happened on Saturday 27th October at about 8.45pm. A black Volkswagon Golf was travelling on the road and was hit by a car travelling in the opposite direction causing substantial damage to the wing mirror.
 
The other car involved is thought to be a mid-sized hatchback and did not stop.
 
PC Stokes said “I am keen to hear from anybody who saw what happened or has noticed a vehicle which has recent damage to its driver’s side wing mirror.”
