A new project which aims to strengthen links between Island employers and high school pupils schools is launched at Ramsey Grammar School this morning.
Inspiring the Future is run by the UK-based charity Education and Employers Taskforce and has been extended to the Island free of charge.
Local firms are encouraged to send staff into schools to inspire, motivate and help prepare young people for the world of work.
The project's UK director will be at today's (Monday) event, with President of Tynwald Clare Christian and Education Minister Tim Crookall among other VIPs.
Brian Lightman is general secretary of the Association of School and College Lecturers.
