Pros and cons of attracting caravanners to the Island

Concerns have been raised over the impact caravan parks would have on the Island's natural beauty - despite the extra tourists they could attract.
A Tynwald Select Committee is examining the advantages and disadvantages of encouraging towed caravans to come to the Isle of Man.
This afternoon the three-man committee, chaired by Alex Downie MLC, has been hearing from Director of Tourism Angela Byrne.
She told them investigations into the economic benefits of promoting caravan holidays in the Island have been going on for two years.
But she told the committee a strategy on the issue must wait until there's clear evidence new caravan parks would boost tourism: Clip 1
