DoI appealing for public feedback on inexperienced drivers

by isleofman.com 15th October 2014
The Department of Infrastructure is inviting public feedback on proposals aimed at improving safety for new drivers.
After a number of high profile cases this year in particular, the department feels 16-25-year-old drivers are most at risk of being in an accident.
At present, people can apply for a provisional driving licence at the age of 16 and sit a test as soon as it has been issued.
Departmental member John Houghton MHK describes one of the suggested proposals which could be put in place:Clip 1
