Heroin with a street value of almost ?23,000 has been seized at Ronaldsway airport.
Two men were arrested in the operation on Tuesday evening and are in custody on suspicion of importing the drug with intent to supply.
Detective Inspector Mark Newey said: 'Seizing approximately ?22,600.00 of Class A controlled drugs destined for the streets of the Isle of Man is a significant seizure. Heroin is a particularly nasty drug that significantly impacts on not only the users but their family and friends. The Constabulary will continue to deal with people involved in bringing Heroin and other drugs into the Island in a positive manner.'
