A breast cancer drop-in-day will be hosted at Village Walk, Onchan on Friday, aiming to promote the value of regular screenings.
A team from Noble's hospital will be available to give advice to women and men about the disease and how to notice early symptoms.
The event is part of the wider fundraising campaign to pay for the new breast care unit, construction of which started on Monday.
