Drugs accused remanded after heroin seizure

Two men from Ramsey have been remanded in custody following a heroin seizure at Ronaldsway Airport.
David Allan Bonnar and Scott Eric Carbutt, aged 36 and 32, appeared in court today (Friday) charged with drug-related offences.
Police seized ?22,600 worth of heroin on Tuesday night.
Mr Carbutt has been charged with being involved in the production of Class A drugs and possession with intent to supply.
Mr Bonnar has been charged with being involved in the production of Class A drugs and attempted possession with intent to supply.
Meanwhile, 61-year old Jean Bonnar, also from the town, is charged with concealing/removing criminal property in connection with the incident.
