Free traditional music workshop with Katriona Gilmore and Jamie Roberts

English folk duo ‘Gilmore and Roberts’ will be leading a workshop for adult musicians on Monday 27th October from 6 - 7pm in St Bridget’s Chapel, The Nunnery, Douglas.
 
Twice-nominated at the BBC Folk Awards, the contemporary folk/acoustic duo combine award-winning song-writing with astounding lap-tapping guitar, fiery fiddle and their trademark harmonies, creating a powerful wall of sound.
 
Organised by Culture Vannin in association with JonnoPromotions, local musicians are invited along to learn some tunes and songs at this one-off workshop. Places on the workshop are free, but should be booked in advance (Ticketbrite). There will also be a workshop for young musicians at 5pm. Find out more at www.manxmusic.com.
