Appeal for driver of car which hit dog to come forward

Constable 309 Pam Robinson is investigating a road traffic collision which occurred on Douglas Road, Ballasalla between 5pm and 5.30pm on Friday 17th October 2014. A silver car struck a black and white Springer Spaniel close to the Balthane Industrial Estate entrance and continued without stopping.

Regretfully the dog subsequented died. 
 
Constable Robinson said, “The car was travelling south and continued without stopping. The owner of the dog is naturally upset and I would urge anyone who saw this collision or has any information about it to contact me at Castletown police station. Alternatively information can be given anonymously on Crimestoppers 0800555111”.
