Review of rates system by 2016

by isleofman.com 22nd October 2014
A review of the rates system will take place by February 2016.
That's been decided by Tynwald after the court spent a lot of the morning debating a report on the Select Committee which was investigating the Island's Domestic Rating System.
Several amendments were made to the recommendations, but the substantive motion was unanimously approved.
Treasury Minister Eddie Teare says it was a good debate, but the court will have to decide how it wants to allocate its resources:Clip 1
