Sentence due in case of death by dangerous driving

A St John’s man who caused the death of a woman by dangerous driving is due to be sentenced today (Thursday).
Thirty year-old Donovan Kitching pleaded guilty to causing the death of Gwen Valentine.
The 62-year-old from Winchester was walking on the Tholt-y-Will Road on April 26 when she was struck by a vehicle he was driving.
Kitching has also admitted possessing drugs, driving while disqualified and without insurance.
