Ten year sentence for death crash driver

A St John’s man who caused the death of a woman by dangerous driving will spend the next decade in prison.
Thirty year-old Donovan Kitching, who pleaded guilty to causing the death of Gwen Valentine, has today (Thursday) been sentenced to serve 10 years and 72 days in prison.
Kitching also admitted possessing drugs, driving while disqualified and without insurance.
Sixty-two year old Miss Valentine from Winchester was walking on the Tholt-y-Will Road on April 26 when she was struck by a vehicle he was driving.
