Kitching inquiry to take place

by isleofman.com 24th October 2014

An independent inquiry will be held after a man on parole hit and killed a pedestrian on the Tholt-y-Will road earlier this year.

Gwen Valentine died when the car being driven by Donavan Kitching from St John's hit her. He had been released from jail three weeks before the incident.

The Department of Home Affairs has today confirmed an independent inquiry will be established into the circumstances of Kitching's release from prison on parole.
