TravelWatch 'looking forward' to airport charges discussion

by isleofman.com 24th October 2014
The Island's passenger watchdog says it wants further discussions with airport management about changes to parking at Ronaldsway.
TravelWatch has already voiced its opposition to the removal of short-term disc parking there, meaning people will now have to pay, no matter how short their stay.
The move comes as part of a raft of new and increased charges being introduced by the Department of infrastructure, as it looks to cover a ?5 million cut in its budget.
Chairman Brendan O'Friel says Travelwatch is looking out for the needs of those using the airport:Clip 1
