Scottish Minister visits Island for talks

by isleofman.com 25th October 2014
The Scottish Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Tourism visited the Island this week.
Fergus Ewing MSP was on the Island to explore possible links between the Island and Scotland in areas such as energy, tourism and international trade.
During the visit Mr Ewing met Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly and Chief Minister Allan Bell, who built links with former Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond.
Mr Salmond has recently been replaced by Nichola Sturgeon as leader of the SNP, and the Glasgow Southside MSP is now set to be officially confirmed as Scotland’s first female first minister in the coming weeks.
Mr Bell says it's in the Island's interests to continue what has been an excellent relationship with the Scottish leadership through Mr Salmond:Clip 1
