Spate of burglaries - police issue warning

by isleofman.com 25th October 2014
Don't make it easy for burglars.
That's the message from police following a spate of burglaries which have happened since early July.
They've mainly been in Douglas, along with a couple reported in the south of the Island, with 17 reported so far.
Items taken have included iPods, laptops and iPhones along with any cash found lying around.
Force Crime Reduction Officer Mike Radcliffe says in many of the cases householders hadn't left their homes secure.
He says it seems the message still isn't getting through to some people to take simple measures to protect property and belongings: Clip 1
