Localised flood warning for Tuesday

by isleofman.com 27th October 2014
The Department of Infrastructure is warning about flooding tomorrow on Tuesday morning, as heavy rain is on the way.
The DoI says people can prepare for the worst by picking up sandbags, which are available at civic amenity sites around the Island.

Weather forecasts say there could be up to two inches of rain over high ground, bringing the risk of standing water on the roads, as well as a risk of some minor localised flooding.
The department says particularly at risk are places where drains have been blocked by fallen leaves.
