Police in Douglas have issued any appeal for information after an elderly woman was mugged in broad daylight at the weekend.
The woman had her purse snatched from her hand at midday on Sunday while walking along Tennis Road.
She was not injured and chased the thief for a short distance.
Police say a man has since been interviewed about the matter and released on bail.
Officers want to hear from anyone who saw the incident.
