by isleofman.com 29th October 2014
There will be fireworks over Douglas Bay at the end of next week.

The annual display is being held on Friday November 7th.

The evening will start with the judging of the Best Guy competition judged by town Mayor Stan Cain.

The bonfire will be lit at 7:15pm, and the fireworks will be set off at 7:30 from a barge near the war memorial.

On the day the former promenade cycle way will be closed between the northernmost end of the Marine Gardens on Harris Promenade and a point opposite Castlemona Avenue from 4pm until 9pm.

Parking will be suspended from 3 until 9pm on the east side of Harris Promenade.

In the interests of safety, spectators are not allowed to bring pets or their own fireworks, including sparklers.
