by isleofman.com 29th October 2014
Police say they have arrested a number of people on suspicion of theft from vehicles.
Officers have had reports of such incidents in both the north and south of the Island over the past few days.
They have also recovered items during the course of the inquiry, which they believe is stolen.
Officers are checking those items against reported crimes, and will be contacting anyone they can make matches with.
CID have been interviewing the suspects.
If you think anything has been taken from your car, contact your local police station.
They believe they have things which have not yet been reported.
The police are also urging you to continue to be vigilant and lock your cars.
