Ramsey fireworks display on November 5th

by isleofman.com 30th October 2014

Ramsey Town Commissioners are holding their public fireworks display on Wednesday November 5th on the Mooragh Lake island.

The display starts at 7.30pm and can be best viewed from the vicinity of the Mooragh Park’s Lakeside Centre.

Ramsey Town Commissioners’ chairman Captain Nigel Malpass said: ‘Ramsey’s fireworks spectacular is always a hugely popular community event thanks to the efforts of many people, including a good number of the Commission’s work force who ensure families are able to enjoy a truly fantastic display in safety.’

Parking will be provided on the Mooragh amenity car park and on the Mooragh promenade. (The Park Road extension adjacent to the rugby pitch will be closed to vehicles until the end of the display). The Mooragh Brooghs paths will be closed to pedestrians who are asked to use the Ballacloan Road entrance to the park.

In the interests of safety and animal wellbeing spectators are asked not to bring their own fireworks and to leave their pets at home.
