Commemorate through Family History research

by isleofman.com 30th October 2014

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Woodbourne Road, Douglas, will be holding another of their popular Family History Open Days on Saturday 8th November from noon - approx. 4pm.

Discover your story with free resources from FamilySearch and be the one to bring your past to life.  If you have not yet experienced the thrill of getting to know your ancestors and do not know where to start, come along and you will receive help in getting started.   You will also be able to access war records and acknowledge the part your ancestors may have played in WW1.

For all who already enjoy delving into their past and those who want to start, there will be computers and other useful family history tools available to use, free of charge, with one-on-one help if needed.

Come along on 8th November and join the growing number of people who are passionately interested in learning about their roots.
