Initiative to understand the needs of carers

A pilot for a new scheme to understand and help carers is being conducted by the Department of Health and Social Care and Crossroads Care.
Care assessments are designed to find out more about the needs of carers and to offer help.
That could include a desire to work, undertake education, training, or leisure activities.
