by isleofman.com 3rd November 2014

Bus fares and railway subsidies will be on the agenda of the next public meeting of pressure group TravelWatch.

The island's director of public transport Ian Longworth will be giving the latest information on buses and heritage railways. A TravelWatch spokesman said: 'There are many passenger travel issues coming to the fore at the moment and this will provide an ideal opportunity to air many of them.'

The meeting is free and starts at 10am in the Promenade Suite, Villa Marina, on Saturday November 8. There will be an opportunity to address the meeting for a maximum of three minutes on a passenger transport related issue. To present a topic, contact TravelWatch chairman Brendan O'Friel at brendan@ofriel.fsnet.co.uk or 833636.
