Fire Service warning about sparklers

by isleofman.com 5th November 2014
It's Bonfire Night and the Fire Service is hoping things are quiet.
It is urging you to attend the organised displays around the Island rather than organising one in your own back garden.
But if you are having your own party, the advice is to follow the instructions on fireworks, keep people watching away at a safe distance and avoid alcohol if you are setting them off.
And if things do get out-of-hand, contact the emergency services rather than putting yourself at further risk trying to deal with a situation.
Fire Station Officer Steven Cretney says children need to be watched carefully at all times - but especially when dealing with sparklers:-Clip 1
