Farage roadshow comes to IoM

by isleofman.com 5th November 2014

One of the more theatrical politicians of our time will be appearing on the Gaiety stage next week.

There are still a few tickets available for Nigel Farage's performance on Tuesday November 11. He'll be taking part in a question and answer session afterwards.

A spokesman for the organisers, the Sporting & Dining Club, said: 'It’s an intriguing chance to hear this man, dismissed by his critics as a saloon bar philosopher, explain why he believes UKIP can offer Britain a better future, and, how his much-promised political earthquake across British politics was delivered, when UKIP stormed to victory in the European elections. UKIP performed powerfully across the country, marking the first time in modern history that neither Labour nor the Conservatives have won a British national election, and, in the last month have had their first elected Member of Parliament, in Douglas Carswell.'
