Continued investment in systems and processes has enabled refreshment specialists MannVend to be awarded ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for the fifth time.
Following a rigorous examination of its standards and procedures, MannVend has exceeded the exacting demands of the accreditation, which is only awarded to companies that demonstrate the highest quality management systems.
Managing Director, Tracey Leahy said; “This re-accreditation confirms our status as a company capable of internationally recognised standards and we are pleased that our dedication to excellent customer service and quality continues to be acknowledged by ISO”.
For a company to attain the standards demanded by ISO 9001:2008, it must commit itself to continual improvement in the performance of its management systems, and to regular surveillance visits. The re-accreditation process takes place on a three-year cycle, and MannVend have held their accreditation since 2002.
MannVend is the Island’s leading provider of workplace refreshments and is based at Ailsa House on the Spring Valley Industrial Estate. The company, which was established on the Island in 1969 by the Leahy family, remains a family run business and prides itself on the quality of its service.
According to Tracey Leahy the renewal of the company’s ISO 9001:2008 accreditation is great news for everybody at MannVend, but customers can rest assured they won’t be resting on their laurels; “The process is ongoing; we have an embedded culture of continuous improvement which involves analysing and challenging every aspect of MannVend’s operations. Our success in achieving this goal is due to the tremendous dedication and teamwork of everyone in the company," said Tracey.
“We are all justifiably proud of this achievement, which provides our customers with added confidence in their decision to partner with MannVend."
